There are many ways that you can help the Ohio Pug Rescue, Inc. The OPR is built upon volunteerism and we need all of the help that we can get to find these wonderful pets happy homes and healthy lives.
Here are some of the ways that you can help and volunteer:
- Spay or neuter your pets: There are thousands of unwanted dogs and cats euthanized every year.
- Microchip, Tatoo, and Current Tags: Everyday, pets go missing and these simple, cheap methods help veterinarians and shelters get them home. Contact your verterinarian for more information.
- Referrals: Refer us to any happy home who wants to find a dog. We discourage pet store buying.
- Fundraising & Knowledge Raising: Invite us to run a concession stand or fundraising booth at your event.
- Make a Donation: All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extend of the law.
- Foster a Pug: We find 50-100 unwanted Pugs every year and they need a happy, temporary home to get healthy and ready while we find their Forever-Home (OPR Members Only).
- Be a Vacation Foster: Our foster parents often need to take a break or go away on a vacation and we like to find happy home to vacation at (OPR Members Only).
